The client, Dorset Race Equality Council, in partnership with the Borough of Poole, Bournemouth Borough Council and Dorset County Council have invited us to produce an anti-racism advertising campaign to be applied over a range of media across Dorset.

 

The aims of the campaign are to raise awareness and educate the viewer that racism, in any form, is not acceptable. The work should reflect a positive image that celebrates the benefits of a diverse cultural society.

 

The final designs should be educational, empowering and inspiring.

 

The concept of my proposal for the anti-racist campaign is based on strengthening ties between neighbours and the community and encouraging cooperation and learning from different cultures. Bringing peoples´ own experiences into an open forum is also key to a better, more tolerant and caring community.
